Random Thoughts

Once again, my gear has started wearing out.  The bike has about 2600 miles on the odometer, and this is my second odometer.  The old one had about 1500 on it.  So naturally the wear and tear is taking it’s toll.  The chain has degraded to the point where it no longer has the same dimensions as the gearing.  What this means is that when I hit certain gears or go up hills,, it sounds like my bike is coming apart.

New chain $20, possible new cassette $60, new front inner gear $20,, smooth running bike, priceless.
