Week 3 1/30 through 2/05
I put in a total of 12 hours of training this week. I am happy with that because I was on the road. I was in the Hampton Suites in Memphis and I would like to publicly say that the facilities SUCK. They had the "fitness room" set up in a walk-in closet. There was a treadmill, a stationary bike and a Stairmaster. None of the equipment was name brand. It may have been from Sears or Salvation Army. The only thing that came close to working was the bike,,, although none of the LEDs worked. I somehow endured an hour sitting on that noisy piece of crap..
For my long bike ride I did the dam loop. 53 miles,, 3 hours and 20 minutes,,, average speed is 15.9 and the max speed was 47 MPH,,, what a rush..
After the long run on Sunday, my legs are hammered... I am exhausted..
